1. Often people think that a psychic will tell them exactly what will happen in the future, and that they themselves has a passive roll to what will happen.

This is not the case and one of the most important things to consider in preparation for your psychic reading.

Psychic readings do tell you what is likely to happen in your future if you stay on your current path but you always have free will and can change any outcome you may have discovered through your reading. Psychics can tell you what can happen depending on the path you choose but ultimately it is up to you to choose your path and make your own future.

2. Come to your psychic reading with an open heart and mind. In preparation, meditation or just really focusing on the questions you want answers to can really help. During the reading it is very important to be open so the psychic can connect to you easily.

3. If your psychic is genuine he or she will not ask you a lot of questions. A psychic only needs a very small portion of information about you and your specific questions. That’s why it is important to come to your reading with specific questions that are important to you. You do not want to end up in a conversation about your desired outcome for the reading.

4. Make sure to have realistic expectations on your psychic. No psychic is right all the time and one that claims to be is usually a fake. All psychics use different techniques to read your energy, some use feelings and words, some use objects and pictures, and sometimes it is impossible for a psychic to do a genuine reading if they cannot connect to your energy.

5. Intuition. During your reading it is important to trust your intuition. Your psychic will help you to understand the meaning of your reading but many times that first gut feeling or intuition when the psychic reveals information is the correct one. It is easy to over analyze and miss the true meaning of your reading. Trust your intuition on what certain part of your reading means to your life.
