If you have never been to any of the psychic fairs then you are really missing out!  Even those that are not into the whole “psychic thing” will enjoy the psychic fairs.  A typical fair will have psychics of all types, aura photography, massage tables, acupressure, acupuncture, reflexology, healers, belly dancers, stage performers, lectures, books, crystals, jewelry, clothing, and well, the list could go on for a long time.  The bottom line is that these are packed full of fun things that you might already be interested in and some that you may not have know about before!

Many of the psychics that you will find at the fairs actually travel around from fair to fair doing readings and selling books and things as they go.  For many of them it’s a Gypsy type life style.  Of course you will also find many of your local psychics there as well.  You may be surprised to know that not all psychics have a store front someplace and some only come out for their local psychic fairs.  It’s a great place to talk to other people and get an idea of the type of reader that you may want, to purchase a few items, or just come and watch the fun!

The most common psychics that you will find at the psychic fairs are tarot card readers but if you ask them or ask around a little while your there you will find that the readers can use many different forms of divination.  As the tarot are the most widely recognized most of the readers will set a deck of tarot cards on their reading table.  Of course you will also find palm readers at the psychic fairs, as that is another well know form of divination.  If you don’t see what your looking for you shouldn’t be afraid to ask, everyone at the psychic fairs are always nice and friendly!  What you will not find though, at least not at any that I have been to, are magicians or other such silliness. 

The psychic fairs is a fun place to go but its not all about fun and games to the people who are their providing their service or selling their items.  I only bring that up because the word fair seems to bring out a feeling of fun and games or silliness and for those that are there to utilize someone’s psychic ability and for those who are providing this service its all very serious.  Yes there will be laughing and fun but you have to remember that this is not a game for them and its important that you respect those that wish to hire someone or purchase items as well as though that are the providers.
