A psychic prediction is also known as a prophecy that is made about future events by someone who is typically a professional psychic and may in fact have the psychic powers to see such future events. Psychics who have provided accurate psychic predictions often describe their ability as coming from God or other such supreme being depending on their religious beliefs. Ones beliefs can often conflict with the idea of prediction and there for they will some times look for a source for the information.
 
Over the years there have been many psychics who have made at least one prediction that has come true. However, there are very few people who claim to be psychics that have ever made a psychic prediction that did in fact come true. The reason for this is that field of psychic prediction is unfortunately filled with fakes and phonies looking to make a quick buck by predicting something that may or may not happen. Those psychics that have made an accurate prediction are some times referred to as a prophet of God. Others have been known to make psychic predictions about another persons life. Some people will say that these things come true because the person providing the prediction have actually influenced the persons decision making and there for have created a correct prediction rather than actually predicting anything. You can decide for yourself if the psychic reading that you receive is something actually predicted or something that you were influenced to do.

There is a difference between prophecy and psychic prediction and that is the scale that they are made on. A prediction generally revolves around a few people or one specific event as where a prophecy involves many people or many different events. For instance, you can call a telephone psychics and get psychic predictions but Nostradamus could be considered to be a prophet due to the amount of major events he predicted that involve and affected many people.

The bottom line is that true psychic predictions are difficult to find and even harder to prove. Of course if there were not so many people out there looking to use prediction as a quick way to make money people would be far more open to the science of psychic prediction and those that can actually provide real and true psychic predictions. There are more qualified psychics out there than you may realize, but society does not give them a proper chance to prove themselves as being accurate at performing predictions.
